Daryl Fitzpatrick

Daryl’s favourite modules at BU included Marketing, Corporate Communications and Business Planning, so he felt sales was an appropriate career choice. In the five years since, he has worked for three different software companies, and quickly climbed from Business Development Executive to Head of Business Development & Innovation.

Brought into his current business as the first sales hire, he not only helped successfully grow new-business revenue by 15% year on year, but acquired new clientele and grew the Business Development department by 500%. This was all against the backdrop of a global pandemic and cost-of-living crisis.

As the Head of Business Development & Innovation at Intellek, he is responsible for generating revenue from new business, existing clients and new partnership programs with other organisations. He also manages the Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Support and Client Success arms of the business. During his tenure at Intellek he has organised and led international events, created the naming for their rebrand in 2022 and diversified the portfolio to include clients from the UK, US, Canada and South Africa.
