If you're a talented golf player, TeamBU Golf (our community of aspiring golf players) offers lots of opportunities to progress while you study with us.
We are one of the top universities for golf in the UK and receive ongoing support from The R&A (golf's governing body and organiser of The Open Championship) to develop our players. In addition to The R&A, our golf programme is also supported by a Student Leadership team (which includes a President, Captains and Vice-Captains).
If you're successful in TeamBU Golf trials, you'll compete in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and competitions. We currently have four mixed teams who represent BU in BUCS. You will also have the opportunity to enter World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) tournaments.
As part of TeamBU Golf, you'll benefit from weekly coaching with golf professionals and unlimited use of both a short game practice area and range balls. During the winter, we also run a warm-weather training week abroad for our top 8-10 players.
