Lulworth Accommodation

• This accommodation is not available to students who will be under the age of 18 by the start of the accommodation contract, which for this site is Saturday 07 September 2024.
• Lulworth Student Company is a private halls operator, providing student accommodation to Bournemouth University students, AUB and AECC students. They own and operate the building. Lulworth Student Company will be your landlord and you will pay your rent to them, and not BU
• Any queries or issues you might have during your time will be dealt with by Lulworth Student Company’s dedicated on-site team

ResLifeBU is an exclusive programme, only available in BU accommodation, designed to help you enjoy your time in student accommodation to the fullest. 

Our ResLifeBU Team supports you in your accommodation across three core areas:

• Social – providing inclusive activities and events to help you meet your fellow students and build a great community
• Wellbeing – supporting your welfare, health, safety and overall comfort and security
• Skills – everything you need for your new independent life, from how to keep your flat clean, to cooking an affordable and healthy meal and tips on managing your budget

£1.75 of your weekly rent goes towards the funding of the programme – but if you make the most of it, you’ll find it’s worth so much more than that.

• It’s just a 2-minute walk to the Lansdowne bus stop, where you can pick by the BU bus service (U1) and get to Talbot Campus in approximately 20 minutes. Your bus pass is included in your rent so you can use this service as much as you need throughout the year (although you can opt-out if you wish). It also includes unlimited travel on morebus zone A services, spanning the wider Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch area.
• Our Bournemouth Gateway Building is a 7-minute walk from this accommodation
• Go green and have fun – rent a Beryl bike. There's a Beryl station located just outside and as a BU student, you'll benefit from a free 200-minute bundle
• The town centre and beach are within walking distance, as is the Bournemouth Travel Interchange.

• Your weekly rent includes contents insurance. Visit the Endsleigh Insurance webage to find out about the level of cover
• High speed wifi in all rooms and throughout the building
• All of your bills are included in your weekly rent so you have nothing further to pay
• As well as having CCTV in the building and secure access, there is also a Lulworth Student Company team member onsite 24 hours a day to provide any help you might need
• The onsite team includes a maintenance operative who will be able to respond and resolve any faults for you in a timely manner
• There is also a ResLifeBU Team who are on hand if you have any wellbeing concerns. They also organise regular social events (see ResLifeBU above).

Although you will select your room via our Accommodation Portal, your contract and rent payments will be with Lulworth Student Company, our accommodation partner who own and operate Lulworth Student Company accommodation.
