The call for 2024-25 postgraduate research (PGR) department representatives will open on Wednesday 25 September (and close on Monday 14 October). Current reps will step down unless they wish to apply for a further academic year.
As a postgraduate researcher rep, you will be responsible for collecting feedback, representing your fellow postgraduate researchers and sharing others’ feedback to help implement positive change to support BU’s research community.
Key responsibilities as a PGR rep
- Talk to your students about all issues that might be impacting the student experience and collect feedback
- Use this feedback to represent the collated student view at relevant university meetings and work with staff to suggest and create positive change
- Share the outcome of these meetings and work with your students and Students’ Union Bournemouth University (SUBU) as a result of this feedback.
