SUBU - Students' Union Bournemouth University - is running its first ever Uni Mates Programme. This is a trial available to a limited number of students in the Bournemouth University Business School, with the aim of helping you adjust to university life.
We're aware of how difficult adjusting to university life can be, so SUBU is launching this programme to give you the best possible start. By connecting you with a group of other students (your Uni Mates) and assigning you a Uni Mate Volunteer, you will always have access to someone who has already been there and done it. If selected, your Uni Mate Volunteer will actively support you, along with nine other Uni Mates, through your first six weeks of university and be a friendly face to help you create your social community and find the support you might need throughout the rest of the year.
