Bournemouth University has risen 18 places to 68th in the Complete University Guide rankings 2022.
The rankings use measures such as entry standards, student satisfaction and graduate prospects to rank UK universities, with BU rising in the 2022 table.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, said, “I am proud of our BU community, and this rise is a recognition for all their hard work and dedication, especially through what has been an unprecedented last year. My thanks go to all staff for their work, as well as to our wonderful students, and members of the BU community for working together to inspire learning, advance knowledge and enrich society.”
The Guide also publishes a series of subject-specific tables, with BU placing in the top ten in three subjects: Complementary Medicine (5/11), Health Studies (6/29) and Tourism, Transport, Travel and Heritage Studies (7/57).
In addition BU also placed 12/85 for Art and Design, 16/79 for Social Work, 18/29 for Paramedic Science and 19/47 for Counselling, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy among other tables.
