Bournemouth University has risen to 95th in the world in the latest THE Young University Rankings 2020.
BU was previously ranked between 101-150 in the world in the 2019 Young Rankings, and has risen into the top 100 for the first time.
The rankings feature universities that are less than 50 years old, and this year features over 400 institutions from 66 territories.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, said, “To be recognised among the top 100 young universities in the world is a moment for us to celebrate, and we’re incredibly proud of our achievements over the last few years. Our ambition remains as we enact our BU2025 vision and remain strong in our teaching, continue to excel in our research output and strengthen our links with industry, locally and around the world.
“My thanks to all in the BU community and beyond who have worked hard, especially through the current circumstances, to ensure the university’s continued success.”
