We're making some improvements to the main entrance doors of the Sir Michael Cobham Library to help provide better access and also to improve energy efficiency. The works include new guard rails, a ramped access and new auto door openers.
Week commencing Monday 17 December:
The main entrance to The Sir Michael Cobham Library will be closed so replacement sensors can be installed to the area. You'll be able to access the library, including the tower and lift, via the Naked café entrance. An area of the foyer will be cordoned off to maintain access from outside to the toilets only via the main entrance.
Any emergency evacuations required will be able to come through the main entrance.
If you have any queries about these works, please contact the Estates Service Desk on 01202 965515 (option 2).
