A free event hosted by Bournemouth University and Dorset Growth Hub will explore the impact that leaving the European Union will have on local trade and the Dorset economy.
The event, taking place on Monday 18 June, will be an opportunity for businesses and academics to discuss Brexit and what it may mean for trade policy and the economy.
Dorset Growth Hub provides support and advice for businesses in the region, and the event will also explore possible ways for businesses to react to the changing environment.
Linda Lengvinaite, project coordinator at Dorset Growth Hub, said: “We are looking forward to partnering with BU to open a discussion on Brexit and how it will affect the Dorset economy.
“Representatives from local government, the business community, and academics will each explain their views on the current situation and possible ways to react in this changing trading environment.
“There will be ample time for discussion between all groups followed by a networking buffet.”
The event runs from 10am until 12pm at BU’s Talbot Campus, and includes lunch.
It is taking place as part of BU’s Festival of Learning, which features over 90 free events and activities from Saturday 16 - Wednesday 20 June.
Free tickets can be booked on the Festival of Learning website.
