Incident on Talbot Campus – 12 January

We were made aware of an incident on Thursday evening (12 Jan) in the Student Village and can very sadly confirm the death of one student, whose next of kin are being informed, with our thoughts and support extended to them. 

Any student or staff member affected by this incident should be aware of the support available through the university, including the Chaplaincy service, askBU, student counselling and SUBU Advice. 

​This was an isolated incident that poses no risk to staff and students on campus this morning.
