"Results from last year’s National Student Housing Survey showed that many of the students who didn’t feel a sense of community within their halls of residence felt that way because they rarely met new people beyond their immediate flatmates. Others said there weren’t many activities to bring people together"

This year we launched ResLife, to help create a lively, friendly and supportive community for new students in BU accommodation.
As part of the scheme, we recruited 33 student Resident Assistants who live in your halls of residence or local area. They organise social activities and are a friendly point of contact if you have any questions or worries.
Our Welfare Co-ordinators (BU staff) live on-site too, and are there to talk to if you ever need extra guidance or advice during your time here.
There’s a great online community on Facebook as well.
