The Beach Student Cup will take place in Sandbanks this weekend, with hundreds of students from across the country set to compete in the beach volleyball tournament.
It is the largest student beach volleyball event in the country with around 200 students competing for the title of Beach Student Cup Champions in single gender pairs and mixed gender fours events.
The Volleyball England competition will be hosted by SportBU, with play beginning at 9am on both days.
Bournemouth University will be represented in the competition by Issa Bartrane, who has just represented England in the Under-21 Beach Volleyball World Championships, and Matt Hunter.
Barry Squires, Business and Partnerships Manager at Bournemouth University, said:
"We are delighted to be working in partnership with Volleyball England in hosting the Beach Student Cup.
“Bournemouth University has a strong reputation in beach volleyball and is ideally placed to deliver this event so we look forward to welcoming all players and spectators to Bournemouth."
Spectators are welcome to head to Sandbanks and watch the matches for free.
