Celebrated young violinist Chloe Hanslip will perform at Bournemouth University on Sunday 8 May.
She will be accompanied by Danny Driver on piano, performing Beethoven, Schnittke, Prokofiev and Richard Strauss.
Chloe first appeared with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) at the age of eight, and has made frequent subsequent solo appearances and recordings.
Danny made his BSO debut this year, with Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto and has since performed around the world.
The performance, presented by Bournemouth Chamber Music Society (BCMS), takes place from 3pm to 4.30pm in Kimmeridge Hall, on BU’s Talbot Campus.
Ian Davis, Head of Music at BU, said; "It's a great privilege for BU to be able to welcome Chloe to perform such a wonderful programme of music on campus and demonstrates University Music's commitment, in partnership with BCMS, to attracting the very best artistes to inspire both our students and the wider community'
Tickets are free for BU and Arts University Bournemouth students. For all other attendees, tickets are £18.
