The brand new Market Deli in the Executive Business Centre on Lansdowne Campus opens on Friday 8 April.
Open Monday to Fridays, 8am to 4.30pm, the Market Deli will offer triple certificated ‘Honest Bean’ Coffee which is organic, and approved by Fairtrade and the Rainforest Alliance.
It will also be equipped with a full salad bar and offer jacket potatoes, soup, freshly baked pastries and cakes. You will also have the option of “breakfast in bread”, and deli breads filled to order, with fillings such as ‘roasted joint of the day’.
To celebrate its opening, the first 10 customers that buy a coffee from the Market Deli from Monday 11 to Friday 15 April, will receive a free treat.
In addition to the exciting new menu at the Market Deli, staff, students and guests can also purchase a hot meal in The Compass Restaurant located next door in the Bournemouth University International College. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and from Friday 8 April, staff and students will benefit from a 20% discount on food if they show a BU ID card. This discount is applicable to dishes produced in the restaurant’s kitchen which are served on the main counter. External guests or customers without suitable ID will pay the usual tariff.
