SportBU tennis scholar Adam Glynn has been selected to compete for Great Britain at the BNP Paribas Tennis Event.
Glynn is a first year student at Bournemouth University, and had been competing for a team in America before joining Bournemouth University and changing his degree.
The tennis star is on court for around two hours a day training in preparation for the prestigious tennis event.
Adam Glynn said, "It’s obviously a huge achievement for me to be picked to play for the GB team, I always love representing my country and playing for a team. It’s nice to know that the hard work pays off.
"It is great that sportBU provide a great opportunity for me to do my strength and conditioning at least twice a week to maintain a good level of fitness. When I first returned to BU I didn't realise there was an opportunity to play for GB's tennis team but the fact that I got into the team is absolutely brilliant."
The BNP Paribas Tennis Event takes place in Rennes-Saint, Gregoire, France from 3-6th December 2015. For more information, visit the event's website.
