Aundre Jess

Aundre launched his career as a Software Test Consultant; developing automated testing tools for clients in the automotive, financial and technology industries.

He went on to work as a Software Engineer at online retailer ASOS, where he helped lead the delivery of backend APIs which served data including global delivery options and click and collect.

After a stint with BBC iPlayer he has joined the team at Twitter as a Senior Software Engineer, where he works as part of a central team responsible for building tools to improve the quality of the company’s products.

Aundre says: “While at ASOS, I had the opportunity to work as an Application Security Engineer where I was able to use the skills I learned from my degree to improve the security knowledge and maturity of development teams across the company. I credit Bournemouth University for providing me with the skills to pursue a career in software engineering.”
