Your relationship with us doesn’t end when you graduate - we encourage our alumni to stay in touch and continue to offer them support and advice. We don't just want you to stay in touch with us though - we provide many opportunities for you to network with your fellow graduates, as well as staff and current students, through our alumni receptions, course reunions and annual applicant receptions. These are held around the world, not just in the UK.
We’re very proud of our postgraduate community and the quality of the research that we produce. In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF) 94% of BU research was found to be internationally-recognised or above, with 19% found to be world-leading in quality. In addition, 95.7% of our research was found to be delivering considerable impact or above, with 31.5% achieving an outstanding impact score.
We also understand that, for many international students, the UK feels like home by the time you complete your degree. If you do want to stay in the UK after completing a Master's, you can seek full-time employment with any company who is a Home Office licensed Tier 2 sponsor.
