Funding for Postgraduate pre-registration nursing courses (MSc Adult Nursing and MSc Mental Health Nursing).

New postgraduate pre-registration nursing, midwifery and allied health professional students from the UK will access loans from the Student Loans Company. They will have access to the Learning Support Fund, administered by the NHS Business Services Authority, for support while attending clinical placements (see the 'NHS Learning Support Fund' section below).

Postgraduate pre-registration students will be able to access loans to cover tuition fees of up to £9,250 per year (following the recent government announcement, the Home fees for 2025/26 entry are currently under review) and to support living costs. These loans will be the same as those available to undergraduate students.

Students who are already registered in nursing, midwifery or an allied health profession will not be eligible for support for a second full-time or part-time pre-registration course or a second full-time postgraduate pre-registration course leading to registration in the same profession.

Details of arrangements for repayment of the loan will come from Student Finance England.
