For advice, information and support, you can drop-in to see Student Services at The Hub in Poole House, Talbot Campus, from Monday to Friday. Please note that some services based in The Hub may only be available by prior appointment or dependent on staff availability.
Following extensive works that have been carried out over the summer of 2023 to modernise the space and improve your student experience, The Hub provides an opportunity to ask questions, either via a drop-in service or through bookable one-to-one appointments.
The Hub is open during term-time from Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm, and Fridays, 9am - 4.30pm, and is the new home for all BU Student Services, including:
- AskBU Team
- Achieve@BU Team*
- Immigration Compliance and Advice Team
- Money Advice Team
- Accommodation Team
- Additional Learning Support (ALS)*
- CareersBU.

Introducing the Careers Zone
The Careers Zone at The Hub gives you access to services that can help you make the most of your time at BU. At the Careers Zone you will not only be able to speak to CareersBU, but also faculty placement teams and the Global Engagement Team.
The Careers Zone is open for general enquiries during term time from Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. Come and talk about anything related to your employability and skills – from jobs, career planning, CVs, applications, placements or overseas work and study opportunities.
