The CDE is an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training based at Bath and Bournemouth Universities. Founded in 2009, the CDE is a national Doctoral Training Centre with an investment of £20 million. We offer a four-year fully funded EngD programme.
Our postgraduate researchers work closely with and in some of the most exciting high-tech companies in the world. Our partners include animation, VFX and games companies (for example Ninja Theory, DNEG, Humain, and Sony Interactive Entertainment), as well as companies who use these skills in other business areas (Ultraleap and emteq Labs). The CDE offers outstanding and unique opportunities to students and companies alike.
