You're invited to the launch of Bournemouth University's new Sustainability Screenings series on Wednesday 27 November, 4:30-7:30pm in Bournemouth Gateway Building, BG-110, where we will be screening the documentary film ‘Six Inches of Soil’.
This film is about regenerative agriculture and tells the story of British famers standing up to the industrial food system. You can watch the trailer here. The film will be followed by a Q&A discussion with the film Producer, Claire Mackenzie. Head to Eventbrite to book your free ticket.
We are committed to progressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), as highlighted in our SDG Report 2024. Sustainability Screenings is a student and community-led initiative open to the entire BU community, designed to raise awareness through film of sustainability challenges, and what we can do as individuals and communities to take action to achieve the UN SDGs. Sustainability Screenings also provides an opportunity for our academic teams, students, local businesses, and community groups to network and showcase research.
