We wanted to make you aware that we are planning to decommission our laptop loan service due to it being underutilised. This change will be implemented over the summer so this service will no longer be available when you return to BU in September.
However, there are plenty of other computer facilities available for you to use across BU:
Sir Michael Cobham Library, floor and the Weston Library on Lansdowne Campus.
Both libraries offer PCs equipped with core BU applications including AppsAnywhere, providing access to software relevant to your course.
Lansdowne Campus
PCs are available in the Bournemouth Gateway Building (BG - G12). These PCs can be booked out of teaching hours (7pm-8am, Monday - Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday) using MyPC
Talbot Campus
- PCs and Technobooths are available in The Sir Michael Cobham Library and can be booked using MyPC
- Technobooths are also available in the Student Centre
- PCs equipped with specific software and hardware for relevant to specific courses are available in our computer labs. Please consult your course leader about these facilities.
