Horizon maintenance on 6 March
On Wednesday 6 March from 8am to 6pm there will no access to the following desktop pools on desktop.bournemouth.ac.uk (VMware Horizon) due to essential maintenance. All other pools will be available but will be deemed at risk during this period.
- Design Engineering Workstation
- Animation and Games Workstation
- Windows Workstation (VDI)
For these pools only: To prevent any loss of work, we request that you save your work and log off before 11pm on Tuesday 5 March.
Normal service should resume after 6pm on Wednesday 6 March. If you do receive a message that says, "no desktop resources are available", please try again after 6pm.

Change to Office.com log in
From Wednesday 6 March there will be a slight change to the way you log in to Office.com.
Below are images of how the current process works and then images of the process from Wednesday 6 March. The new process will only require a two-step log in rather than the previous three-step process.
