Leadership in the 21st Century

Understanding what it means to be a leader is important. Even more so in the 21st century, especially as the workplace evolves to accommodate new expectations, motivations and technologies. Join three speakers who share their own experiences of leadership in 21st century.
Understanding Health Event: Understanding Menopause
Wednesday 6 March, 3pm – 4pm - Online and Bournemouth Gateway Building, Lansdowne Campus
This event brings together expert speakers from BU and University Hospitals Dorset to share their knowledge of the best lifestyle and medical advice to help you stay healthy in your menopause.
SUBU Movie Night
Wednesday 6 March, 6pm – 8pm - Bournemouth Gateway Building, Lansdowne Campus
Join the Surf Club to celebrate Women’s History Month with a look at the history of women in surfing as well as a screening of the movie Soul Surfer. Check out the video trailer on YouTube.
SUBU Book Fairies visit BU
Thursday 7 March, 9am – 5pm - Talbot and Lansdowne Campus
SUBU’s Book Fairies will be out in force hiding fiction, non-fiction and poetry books by women around Talbot Campus and the Bournemouth Gateway Building for World Book Day!
SUBU Fizz and Feminism
Thursday 7 March, 6pm – 8pm - Student Centre, Talbot Campus
To coincide with World Book Day, join SUBU to talk about books and feminism over a glass of bubbly. You’ll also have to opportunity to make your own zine reflecting on being a woman.
