In September, we shared with you the changes to how we will gather your feedback during this academic year. In summary, we are not running the My Course and My Unit Feedback surveys, which you may remember from last year. Instead, we will be collecting some feedback from you in timetabled ‘end of semester’ sessions. These will help us to understand how you are finding your course. Look out for further details about these shortly.
In addition, we also want to learn how you have settled into this year and if there is anything we can do to support you. So, we have a very short survey – just four questions – to ask you. This survey, called Supporting You, is open for all students on taught courses, levels 0 to 7, from today, Wednesday 22 November. It will close at midnight on Friday 1 December. If you are a Postgraduate Researcher (PGR), we are working with SUBU and the Doctoral College to engage with our PGR community and understand your BU experience.
You can access the questionnaire via:
- The email we’re sending you – this will come from ‘Bournemouth University’, so look out for this in your inbox
- The information about the survey in the top right-hand corner of the Brightspace home page.
As a thank you for sharing your feedback, you’ll be entered in to our prize draw to win one of three Fitbits. The winners will be selected at random. You can read the terms and conditions for the prize draw.
Feedback:
During December, we will look at what you have told us in your survey responses and see what actions we need to take. When you come back in January after the winter break, we will share these details with you.
Please complete the Supporting You survey by 1 December.
