Bournemouth University has climbed to 55th in the 2024 Complete University Guide rankings, up from 72nd place last year.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, said, “The commitment of our staff and students to making a difference to society and to our local community through their education and research is achieving real success and is reflected in this outcome.
“My thanks go to everyone in the BU community for their work and dedication.”
The Complete University Guide includes 130 institutions and is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects – outcomes, Graduate Prospects – on track, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, and Continuation.
This latest rankings success follows the announcement last week that BU climbed 13 places into the Top 30 of the THE Impact Rankings, which looks at university performance against the UN Sustainable Development goals.
