Cycle for the century! 5-11 June 2023 is the 100th National Bike Week, marking a century of celebrating everyday cycling for everyone. Visit the Bike Week 100 website to find out more and get involved.

We've got the following activities happening at BU, and you can also find local cycle routes, clubs and events to join in with:

Tuesday 6 June - Lansdowne Campus

  • Bike Doctor Service - The Bike Doctor will be at Bournemouth Gateway Building between 9am - 3pm, offering free bike services to all staff and students. No need to book, simply take your bike, bike lock and BU ID card along.

On Wednesday 7 June - Talbot Campus

  • Bike Doctor Service - The Bike Doctor will be offering additional servicing between 10am – 2pm outside the Student Centre
  • Bike Maintenance Workshop - Bring your bike along to this workshop between 2pm - 4pm and learn basic maintenance skills! (Max six persons - please book your place by emailing [email protected]). Outside the Student Centre.
