AskBU
The AskBU team have moved to the Help Zone on the ground floor of The Sir Michael Cobham Library. This is a temporary move for the summer, you can still contact them by phone on 01202 969696 and email [email protected]. You can also visit the team at the Bournemouth Gateway Building at Lansdowne Campus. Check online for their opening hours.
Cash Office
The Cash Office is now closed, with all remaining student and staff-facing payment transactions available online.
You can find out how to pay your undergraduate or postgraduate fees or contact the team on the website.
Global Mobility Hub
Student drop-in sessions for study and work abroad will be online via MS Teams on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from Monday 15 May to Wednesday 26 June. You can also email the team at [email protected].
Open Access Centre in Poole House
The overnight computer facilities that were previously provided by the Open Access Centre (OAC) in Poole House are now available 24/7 in the Sir Michael Cobham Library (SMCL). This means we are able to provide 24/7 access to the ground floor of SMCL as we do at the Weston Library on Lansdowne Campus.
Changes to Poole House opening hours have also been made following this change. Please read our piece on access and opening times at Poole House to find out if you will be affected.
Poole House reception
Poole House reception is relocating to the ground floor of the Sir Michael Cobham Library from Monday 29 May.
Security
The Security team have moved from Poole House reception into SMCL.
There will be signage in Poole House to direct colleagues and students to the new locations. For further inquiries about the changes across Talbot Campus, please contact Jim Evans.
