Gain experience of sitting on the board of a multi-million-pound charity and influence the strategic direction of your students’ union.
The Students’ Union at Bournemouth University (SUBU) are looking for student volunteers to join its Trustee Board for a term of up to two years.
The Trustee Board meet up to five times a year to steer the direction of the students’ union and provide oversight of the charity’s operations to ensure financial sustainability, legal compliance, and reputational integrity.
The role of a Student Trustee is a great opportunity to develop your communication, diplomacy, and teamwork skills before your graduate. You’ll be able to to network with SUBU’s External Trustees which include leaders in their field.
Although this is a volunteer role, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed, and successful applicants will be entitled to free Summer Ball tickets each year of their term worth up to £50.
