The National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA) at Bournemouth University has received formal accreditation as a Rookies Certified School. The certification, backed by creative industry experts, is ‘designed to showcase and acknowledge the very best schools that provide the most up-to-date and relevant industry training and education’.
The Rookies is the largest global community of next generation creatives, as a platform where members can up-skill, network with other creatives and gain inspiration for their projects. Ranking creative media and entertainment schools since 2009, the Rookies aims to enable aspiring artists to choose schools that will prepare them for working in a real-world environment. ‘The Rookies World School Rankings® has become a trusted and industry respected system for showcasing the best education facilities available to students.’ The NCCA at Bournemouth University is currently ranked as the top UK school in the Rookies ‘Best Visual Effects Schools in the World 2022’ category.
