Student feedback is really important to BU. It helps us understand your experience and means we can take actions which make a real difference. This year, we are introducing two new surveys to help us better support your experience at BU.
The surveys will help us to understand how you are finding your individual units and your overall course. You will receive the:
- My Unit Feedback survey - at the end of each unit. This will ask you about your current units of study
- My Course Feedback survey - we will also invite you to feedback on your whole course experience once per year through the My Course Feedback survey.
The new My Course Feedback survey is currently open for level six students to complete until 27 November.
The survey results could enable us to resolve an issue which is affecting you currently, give you useful information and/or make changes to improve the experience of future students.
The timings of the surveys for this academic year are as follows:
My Unit Feedback – levels four, five, six and seven:
My Course Feedback:
If you are at levels five and six, you may have been invited to take part in MUSE or FUSE surveys in previous years. My Unit Feedback will now replace those two surveys. It will still focus on your learning experience on individual units.
These surveys are not the only way in which you can feedback about your course, BU services and facilities, or other aspects of student life. You can talk to your Student Rep for your course or add your feedback to the SimOn tool. Your will also be given the opportunity to take part in national surveys, such as the National Student Survey (NSS) for final year undergraduate students and the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for Master’s students. You can find out more about how to share your experiences and help us to continue to improve BU for all students on our website.
