Bournemouth University Business School sponsor Rising Star category at Poole Business Awards
Bournemouth University Business School (BUBS) are sponsoring the Rising Star category at the Poole Business Awards 2021. The Poole Business Awards focus on and promote the quality of local businesses, whilst bringing a range of businesses together.
The Rising Star Award aims to spotlight and celebrate 16 to 27-year-olds who have joined or set up a business. The globally accredited BU Business School has a strong focus on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurship, which aligns with the ethos of the award category.
Dr Lois Farquharson, Executive Dean of Bournemouth University Business School, commented: “The Bournemouth University Business School is delighted to be sponsoring the Rising Star Award. BUBS is committed to supporting businesses and the Poole Business Awards are a fantastic platform for local organisations to showcase their achievements. The Rising Star category recognises the many talented and outstanding 16 to 27-year-olds across Poole who are employed in business or running their own organisations.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 9 November at the RNLI College and will be streamed live to reach a wide audience.
