As a result of statutory inspections being carried out by our energy provider, SSE, power will be turned off in various buildings on Talbot Campus over the weekend of Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April.
The Sir Michael Cobham Library will be closed all day on Saturday 6 April, re-opening at 10am on Sunday 7 April. Power is also expected to be off for up to three hours in each of the following buildings once the work begins.
Saturday 6 April: Christchurch House, Weymouth House, Fusion Building (morning)
Saturday 6 April: Student Village, Talbot House, (afternoon)
Sunday 7 April: Poole House, SportBU, the Student Centre (morning)
Sunday 7 April: Dorset House, Kimmeridge House, Jurassic House (afternoon)
Please make sure you have saved all work and logged out of your computers by the end of the day on Friday 5 April.
Network refresh works will also be taking place over the same weekend in Weymouth House and the Sir Michael Cobham Library on Saturday 6 April and Poole House - including the Open Access Centre on Sunday 7 April.
There will be no connectivity to WiFi, computer networks, printers, phones at times and all staff and students working in these locations should make sure their network devices are logged off (but not switched off) before the scheduled work takes place.
