University Music's Choirs and Orchestra return to the beautiful Christchurch Priory to present a concert of music focusing on the themes of the sea, horizons and eternity. Join us on Saturday 20 October at 7.30pm.
The soloist in Elgar's stunning Sea Pictures will be the internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Janet Shell who has performed the composer's works with orchestras and choirs around the world. The evening also includes a chance to hear Vaughan Williams' 'Toward the Unknown Region', a fabulous choral work that featured in the opening night of this year's BBC Proms, as well as Stanford's all too rarely performed Songs of the Fleet.
Book your seats via Christchurch Priory Box Office. Student and staff discounts available.
