Struggling to access BU facilities with your ID card?

If you're unable to access a BU facility as you usually would (e.g. a building or facility such as the Open Access Centres or the cycle compounds) and the access point unit flashes red when you present your staff card, please take your card to a reception desk between 8.30am – 4.30pm for your card to be checked. Most staff access is limited only to areas of the univesity in which you work, so this only applies if you require access to areas of the campus that you usually would, or if your card has been recently updated.

We recommend that all cards are regularly presented to an updater point to ensure that they have the latest access lists in their memory.
