Due to an IT system upgrade there will be some interruption to logging in to some library e-resources from 4.30pm on Monday 16 July and overnight into Tuesday 17 July. However, access to services should be considered at risk until Friday 20 July.
During this period you are advised to:
- Follow guidance provided on Brightspace, myBU and the Library web pages
- Prior to 16 July, back up any search histories, favourites, book shelves etc. where your university login is used to create personalised features. This does not apply where you are required to create a secondary login for personalised features (e.g. MySearch; EBSCO databases).

This upgrade is the second phase of improvements to accessing library e-resources and includes the login screen (below) which you will have already seen when logging into some library e-resources off-campus, and may already be familiar with from logging into student e-mail, Brightspace etc.
