Dr Melanie Klinkner will spend Trinity Term at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, University of Oxford, to concentrate on a programme work concerned with ‘testing’ and ‘refining’ arguments in relation to ongoing research into the right to the truth and progressing ways of developing mass grave protection guidelines.
The Bonavero Institute of Human Rights is a dedicated institute within the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford. As part of its mission, the Institute seeks to integrate human rights research and practice within the Law Faculty and the University more broadly. It will establish a vibrant community of graduate students, host outstanding scholars of law and other disciplines, and collaborate with practitioners engaged in the most pressing contemporary human rights issues around the world.
As a research visitor, Dr Klinkner will participate in many of the activities of the Institute and contribute to the research environment. She will use the university’s research facilities and libraries and attend seminars and lectures and other academic gatherings open to the university community.
