To mark Speak Week 2017 at BU, we're sharing a series of 'You Said, This Happened' stories to show you that your voice can make a difference on the bigger things at BU as well on your course or units of study.

“We regularly share our feedback with BU - what you do with that information?”
- Feedback sent to SUBU via SimOn (2016/17 academic year)

We always look at your feedback and really value your comments.
New for this year is a ‘responding to your feedback’ area of our website where both BU academics and SUBU can regularly share responses to the feedback you provide via your reps, SimOn or your Student Experience Forums that relates to your department, faculty or across BU. Information is split by faculty and department so that you can access what is most relevant to you. You’ll also find a series of FAQs on topics we regularly get asked about such as: campus services, transport, IT and the Students’ Union.
For unit specific feedback you share through the mid-unit student evaluation (MUSE) process, or your unit leaders, you can find responses in a dedicated area of your virtual learning environment, or VLE, (myBU or Brightspace).
At BU we don't just like to talk, help and give advice, we also value what you have to say – after all, how else can we know what you need to make your time here the best it can be? We regularly make changes and improvements as result of your feedback – sometimes we can do it quickly, sometimes we need a little longer, and occasionally, we can’t do anything at all. Speak Week is a brilliant opportunity to not only for you to ask the Vice Chancellor about important BU matters and share your voice at the Big Student Meeting – but also for us to share some of the things we’ve done as a result of your feedback - read more of our You Said, This Happened stories in the student feedback section of our site where you'll also find out more about the ways you can share your views.
