Bournemouth University (BU) has risen six places in the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.
The rise, from 88th to joint 82nd, follows leaps in two other respected league tables this year.
BU also jumped 11 places to 54th nationally in The Complete University Guide and was up eight places to 63rd nationally in the Guardian University League Table 2016.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, said: “I’m delighted that Bournemouth University has risen in the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.
“This result – along with climbs in two other national league tables this year – is a great reflection of the hard work and dedication of our staff, students and the BU community.
“We continue to invest in world-class facilities and academic staff to ensure the best possible experience for all our students and achieve our ambition of becoming a top 50 university by 2018.”
The Sunday Times Good University Guide league table - published annually - is made up of nine indicators including student satisfaction; research quality; graduate prospects; student to staff ratios; and service and facilities spend.
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016, published on September 20, also contains full profiles of all UK universities.
