Professor Stephen Tee has been appointed to the role of Executive Dean of Bournemouth University’s Faculty of Health and Social Sciences.
Professor Tee joins Bournemouth University from King’s College London, where he is currently Professor of Nurse Education and Dean for Education in the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, as well as Principal Fellow.
Stephen has wide experience in the healthcare industry; he has been a Registered Mental Health Nurse for almost 30 years, working clinically for 12. He has also held roles at Southampton University and in 2014 was elected Chair of the Healthcare Education Group, providing a platform for educators to discuss emerging issues in the delivery of medical and health education.
Speaking of the appointment, Professor Tim McIntyre-Bhatty, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University, said, “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Stephen Tee as the new Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. Stephen will be a vital member of the University’s Leadership Team and we look forward to welcoming him to BU.”
Stephen’s appointment comes after Bournemouth University’s recent rise in both the Complete University Guide and Guardian University league tables and the opening of the University’s new Student Centre.
