Our postgraduate scholarships are designed to reward excellence in all its forms, giving you additional support while you're studying with us. We offer a wide range of scholarships to our International postgraduate students to help make studying at a postgraduate level in the UK more accessible. 

The following scholarships are available if you are starting your course in January 2025:

Chevening Scholarship scheme Full-time applicants for a postgraduate taught course who are a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of application and who intends to return there at the end of study A tuition fee waiver plus other allowances Apply online - the deadlines are country specific but the application window is usuallybetween August and November each year for September entry in the following year

Chevening Partner Scholarship scheme

Full-time applicants for MSc Adult Nursing, MSc Marketing Management, MA 3D Computer Animation and MSc Digital Health who are a citizen of Turkey, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong or China and who intends to return there at the end of study A tuition fee waiver plus other allowances Apply online - the deadlines are country specific but the application window is usually between August and November each year for September entry in the following year

Bournemouth University - GREAT Scholarships 2025

Applicants for full-time taught postgraduate courses who are resident in Indonesia, Thailand or Mexico. You must have achieved a minimum of a UK upper second-class Honours (2:1) degree (or overseas equivalent) that is relevant to your postgraduate study £10,000 tuition fee reduction Apply online by 30 April 2025

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships

To be eligible for one of these scholarships, you must meet certain criteria including having applied to study MSc Disaster Management at BU

The Shared Scholarship covers:

  • Tuition fees
  • Maintenance/living cost stipend
  • Return flights
  • Thesis grant Study travel grant (if applicable)
  • A one-off arrival allowance
