How the programme is delivered

This is a part-time, blended learning programme with around 22 months of on-course activities. Apprentices are required to study for 20% of their contractual hours which may include the following types of activities:

  • 19 days of face-to-face lectures and workshops
  • Online live seminars
  • Recorded lectures
  • Case studies and discussion boards
  • Action learning sets
  • Mentoring
  • Practical work-based activities
  • Self-study

This programme is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Entry requirements:

Entry criteria for the SLA is:

  • Applicants with a first degree (or equivalent) and at least three years managerial experience or
  • At least five years managerial experience for those without a first degree.
