About PTES
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) helps BU to gather important information about the experiences of our postgraduate taught students on Master’s courses. The survey is also carried out by universities across the UK, which means we can compare how we are doing with other institutions. PTES covers students’ experiences in the key areas of:
- Teaching and learning
- Engagement
- Assessment and feedback
- Organisation and management
- Skills development.
Find out more about the survey
The survey will run from Monday 15 April until Thursday 13 June and will take you around 15 minutes to fill in the survey. Just look out for an email in your BU student account from Bournemouth University <[email protected]>, which will include a personalised link to the survey.
Your responses will be completely anonymous in that they cannot be identified to you. All BU will ever know is how many students responded to the survey, along with a breakdown of your collective responses.
All the important legal information relating to data protection and the survey itself which is conducted by Advance HE, the national body which champions teaching excellence, can be found on these pages.
You'll also be in with a chance to win one of five fantastic graduation prizes. You could win a photography and gowns package – or even an overnight stay in a hotel to celebrate your graduation in style!*
*The full prize draw terms and conditions and PTES 2024 privacy notice are available.
