Climate Action Week 2024 officially takes place Monday 4 – Friday 8 March. Take a look at the events we have planned for the week and how to get involved.
In February 2021, we published our Climate and Ecological Crisis Action Plan, which outlines the ways we’re hoping to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030/31. You can read our annual progress report on the BU website.
Community action is a key part of achieving this target, which is why we are hosting Climate Action Week as an opportunity for students, staff and the broader community to join us in taking action for the benefit of both people and the planet.
The variety of events we have planned throughout the week aim to inspire and empower you to take climate action through learning, sharing knowledge, and discussion, but also through understanding how climate action can have positive effects on your mental and physical health.
